What are Emvelo's Products Used For?
Emvelo makes products which fall into 3 catagories:
1. Animal Housing Sprays primarily for odour control – Spray+, Stable+, Pet Habitat+
2. Insect Repellents – Protect+ and Pet Protect+
3. Sprays to ease Respiratory difficulties – Breathe+ and Pet Breathe+
How Do Emvelo's Natural Products Work?
The basis of our formulations and processes is to copy natural systems by enhancing the positive factors, rather than the usual negative focus on killing. The product range fully focuses on harnessing the beneficial aspects of bacterial growth in a naturally balanced microbial environment. The natural culture of beneficial micro-organisms, pure aromatherapy oils and edible vegetable extracts in Emvelo products work together in many complementary ways to naturally:
- help to maintain the microbial balance in the environment
- help your animals remain healthy, less prone to infection and stress
- manure is less offensive and can be used as compost directly
- deter annoying insects without the use of chemicals and pesticides
- promote peace and calm in a stress free environment
- reduce the offensive smell of animal waste products
How do you Apply Stable+ and Spray+ Odour Control Products?
Emvelo Stable+ and Spray+ Concentrates are easy to apply. The quickest and most effective way to apply the products is by using a pressure sprayer which produces a fine mist. Firstly dilute the product in the sprayer as per the recommended quantities. Then just spray over the housing (stable, barn etc) floor and 1m up the walls as a fine mist. The product should not be applied so wet that it pools on the floor or drips down walls. Once applied, introduce the bedding and again apply a fine mist. The videos below show that it is so simple, safe and easy to apply that children can do it.
Are there any side effects when using Emvelo?
Emvelo Products have shown no harmful side effects, only positive spin-offs for the environment.
How will I know if Emvelo is working?
Within two weeks you will notice sweeter odours, less flies and happier, more responsive animals.
Are Emvelo's products safe?
The products are all brewed using environmental "best practice" and sustainable resources. The brewing process is safe, non toxic and non corrosive. Using the sprays has shown to provide sweeter smelling animal housing areas with low biological oxygen demand (BOD) and reduced ammonia levels.
What about the impact of using medication?
Experience in the field has demonstrated less reliance on pesticides, antibiotics and chemicals when the products are used on a regular basis. However, we would still recommend you speak with your vet regarding any health issues with your animals or birds.

How Much 'Emvelo' do I Need?
For an example of how much to buy for a typical Stable or small shed please see the Size to Buy? page of our online shop. If you are using Emvelo's products for the first time or have a small number of animals we suggest you consider our starter packs and 'Ready to Use' range. If you have a large agricultural farm, yard, kennels or similar, please contact us giving a description and size of your animals housing and we will suggest how much you will require.

How Often do I Need to Apply Emvelo's Natural Products?
Breathe+ and Pet Breathe+ are usually applied morning and evening into the air, however since it is a natural product with no known side effects, you can adjust this to suit your animals breathing condition.
Stable+, Spray+ and Pet Habitat+ are generally applied at regular intervals, which may be adjusted to fit with your normal hygiene routine. The concentration of the product used is adjusted according to how often you wish to apply the product. See individual product instructions for guidelines on dilution for Daily, Weekly or Monthly application.
Protect+ and Pet Protect+ are topical insect repellant applications and the rate of application will need to vary depending on the degree of troublesome insects and the concentration of the product used.
How long do Emvelo's Products Last?
Stable+, Spray+, Pet Habitat+, Protect+ and Pet Protect+ contain live microorganisms and therefore will become less effective over a long period of time and these are given a shelf life of 6 months.
Breathe+ and Pet Breathe+ are given a shelf life of 1 year, but there is no reason why they should degrade after this time.
